Focus Education runs various games of skill and mental ability during our brain workshops. We will keep track of the results from these activities for display here. Our brain workshops involved many different types of groups and so we've created categories for each game.
Neuron game
Everyone in the group forms a large circle. Everyone simulates a single neuron in a neural pathway. Each person has a dendrite hand - usually the left , and a terminal hand - the right. One person is nominated as the starter. The starter "fires" by clapping hands with the dendrite hand of the next person in the pathway. That person's job is to pass the signal as fast as possible to the next in the pathway until the signal reaches the starter again. The results are broken up into group size, age group and variation of the game.

Memory game
To test the amount of information that can be stored in the short term memory, every participant is asked to remember a sequence of numbers. The group must remember the numbers without writing them down until instructed. The amount of numbers that can be remembered changes with age but some people have a remarkable ability to do this. The records are the top 30 ordered by the length of digits recalled.
